Reliance Telecommunication is commonly called a RCOM. Reliance is an Public Limited Company. It is an Indian Broadband company. Headquarter is located in Navy Mumbai in India. RCOM is considered as the second largest telecom operator which is next to Bharati Airtel. They are considered as the 15th largest mobile phone operator with nearly 150 million subscribers all over the world. Reliance Telecommunication was established in 2004. They are one of the groups of Reliance. There are 5 segments in this company. They are Global segment, Broadband segment, wireless segment, Investment segment and the other segment consists of ditect home and customer care activities. Wireless segment mainly deals with the wireless operations of the company.
Reliance Telecommunication is considered as one of the top 5 companies in the world. This is mainly due to the more number of customers in a single country. Clients of Reliance Telecommunications includes2100 Indian and Multinational Corporation. There are also 800 clients in global, religional and domestic clients. Reliance Company has introduced a Pan India, next generation, integrated and convergent digital network are capable of supporting the services which is found in the areas of 24000 towns and 600,000 villages. Next Generation IP Connectivity infrastructure is owned and operated by the Reliance Telecommunication which is comprised of 190,000 Kilometers of Fiber optic cable systems which is found in India, USA, Europe, Middle East and Asia pacific region.

Nearly 28,065 employers are working in Company  according to the report 2010.Offices of  Reliance Communication Limited are Ahmedabad, Bangalore, Chennai, Hyderabad,Jaipur, Kochi, Kolkatta, Lucknow, Patna and Pune. Reliance Telecommunication competes with 14 mobile operators all over India. Aircel, Airtel, BSNL,Idea, Loop Mobile, MTNL, MTS, Ping Mobile, S Tel, Tata Docomo, Tata Indicom, Uninor, Vediocon, Virgin mobile and Vodafone are the competitors of Reliance. With the 3G MIMO technology  is offered by Reliance with its speed of 28 Mbits which is currently available in India. Telecom Company had announced that their Partnership is with the Lenova company to bring the Reliance-Lenovo smartphones in Indian smart phone market which is signed in the year on 31 January 2013.So the smart phones will be available by the middle of the year nearly 2500 reliance stores and also 1000 Lenovo stores in India. Smart phones are powered by Android mobile platform and also dual core processors.
 Reliance Big TV was launched in the year August 2008. They obtained nearly 1 million subscribers within 90 days of their launch. This is the first DTH operator in the world to achieve this than any other DTH operators. Thus Reliance Big TV offers 1.7 million customers DVD quality pictures within the 200 channels with the help of MPEG-4 Technology. 3G Spectrum auction was ended in the year on 19th may 2010.In 13 circles reliance communication paid nearly 5864.29 crores for the spectrum.The 13 circles are Delhi, Mumbai Kolkata, Punjab, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, West Bengal, Himachal Pradesh, Bihar, Odisha, Assam, North -East and Jammu and Kashmir.On 11 June 2010 4G Spectrum auction was ended.
Reliance Industry tried to launch the 4G services in December 2011 and they also expected to use to LTE Technology. RCOM reduced the price of 61% on its 3G services on May 2012.
