This is located in the Darjeeling Himalayan region which is Darjeeling Jalapahar range which originates from the south from Ghum. This range is Y shaped in which it contains the base that is resting at Katapahar and also Jalapahar. These are the two arms which are diverging from the north of observatory hill. The arm which is the north east dips suddenly and then it ends in the Lebong Spur. In the same manner north western part of the arm which passes through the North Point and also in the valley the Tukevr Tea Estate. Kanchenjunga is the world third largest peak which is 8598m which is 28,209 feet high which is the most important mountain which are available.
