Electrical engineering is the study and the application of electricity,electronics and electromagnetism

Electrical engineering deals with the study and also the application of electricity, electronics and electromagnetism. This field first became the identifiable occupation in the 19th century which is after the commercialization of the electric telegraph, telephone, electric power distribution and use. It also covers the wide range of subdivisions which includes the electronics, digital computers, power engineering, telecommunications, control systems, RF engineering and also the signal processing. Electrical engineering also includes the electronic engineering. Distinction is also made in the outside the United States and therefore this electrical engineering are mainly deals with the problems which is linked with the systems such as electric power transmission and electrical machines.Thus electronic engineering also deals with the study of electronic systems which includes computer, communication systems, integrated circuits and also radars. Electrical engineers are mainly deals with electricity to transmit power and electronic engineers are mainly using the electricity to perform the process.

Since17th century Electricity has been the study of scientific interest. The first electrical engineer is William Gilbert who developed Versorium. Versorium is nothing but the device which is used to detect the presence of statically charges objects. He was the first person to provide the clear definition and difference between the magnetism and also the static electricity and he has the credit in establishing the tem electricity.Electrical engineers generalyy will have the degree which is major in electrical engineering or electronics engineering or electric and electronics engineering.
Fundamental principles are taught in the all the programs. Generally the duration of this course is four to five years. Thus the completed degree may include Bachelor of Engineering, Bachelor of Science, Bachelor of Technology or Bachelor of applied science which is depending on the university.  Bachelor's degree generally deals with the subjects such as Physics, Mathematics, Computer Science, project Management and are the variety of topics in electrical engineering.These topics will mostly cover all the information. In some schools students are allowed to choose the one or more subdivisions which are at the end of their course. Most of the schools provide the electronic engineering as part of the electrical award.
Some of the electrical engineers will choose to study the postgraduate degree such as Master of Engineering or Master of Science, Master of engineering Management, a Doctorate of Philosophy in engineering or an engineering Doctorate. The master's and also the engineer's degree consist of research, course work or the mixture of both. The Doctor of philosophy and also the engineering doctorate degrees consist of the research component.
Electrical engineers consist of many subdivisions. The most famous subdivisions are power, control, electronics, micro electronics, signal processing, telecommunication, Instrumentation and computers. Even though it is the choice of the engineers to choose any one of these subdivisions but most of them use the combined subdivisions.
Mechatronics is also one of the engineering discipline which deals with the meeting of electrical and mechanical systems.So this combination is known as electromechanical system and therefore they are widespread. They  re having a very good future.
